The book group has been in continual existence since September 2003. Our books for discussion are provided by GLL (Greenwich Leisure Ltd) who have taken over the running of the Library Service from Lincolnshire County Council. The group pays a subscription of £40 a year to GLL due each August, (at the moment this works out at £2.65 per person per year).
The Library Service have a list of approximately 200 titles, with new titles added twice a year and others deleted. The Library Support Team send us multiple copies of one title each month. We do not generally know what title to expect, but over the past year we have read a varied selection. We have a month to read the book and then get together for a lively discussion on the second Wednesday of each month at 2pm at Skegness Library.
