The Cookery Discussion Group is an informal gathering at the group leader's home to exchange recipes and, for those so inclined, to bring samples related to the theme for everyone to taste. Each meeting has a theme which could be anything from soups, main meals or desserts to seasonal or foreign foods. Themes are agreed in advance by the group. At the end of the meeting, we vote for the best food item and they are awarded with the Star Baker mug, which is used at the next meeting for their drink.  Please feel free to try the group whatever your level of interest in cooking
